Before pursuing a career in law, Selena was practising as a hospital pharmacist. In the course of optimising medication use and offering medication counselling, she grew to appreciate how adaptability and a personal touch are indispensable ingredients for any prescription.

This is an appreciation that Selena has carried over to her corporate practice, with her main area of focus being advising on regulatory and compliance matters within the financial services sector. Recognising that the financial industry is rapidly evolving and is at the cutting edge of innovation, she understands that the lines between the various fields involved are becoming increasingly blurred and endeavours to provide legal advice that is calibrated to meet modern commercial practicalities.

Having spent some time living in Seoul, Selena has since taken a keen interest in the Korean culture and is currently able to read and converse in Korean on an intermediate level.

Not one to bow down in the face of adversity, Selena is remarkably pliable when gracing a yoga mat. A typical day for her begins with handstands and various stretches to awaken the body and mind. This routine helps centre her and puts her in a much better position to help her clients.
